2. How the iPhone App Stores Data

The iPhone app supports different storage modes for some features, including session-related data and teacher-rate preferences.

  • On This iPhone Only: certain supported records stay on your device and are not uploaded unless you later choose to sync them
  • Sync to Cloud: supported records are stored on your device and also synced to our backend services
  • Cloud Only: supported records are stored in our backend services without persistent local storage for those records

Some account and operational data, such as authentication, profile details, announcements, and your teacher and dancer catalogs needed by the service, may still be processed through our backend even when you choose local-only storage for supported content types.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain our dance services
  • Send schedule updates and session reminders
  • Process payments and manage invoices
  • Communicate important team announcements
  • Improve our services and user experience

4. SMS/Text Message Communications

As part of our service, we may send SMS/text messages for:

  • Session reminders and schedule updates
  • Team announcements and urgent notifications
  • Account-related alerts

Message frequency: Varies based on your schedule and team activities. Typically 0-5 messages per week.

Opt-out: You can opt-out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message or adjusting your notification preferences in your account settings.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating our platform, including authentication, hosting, messaging, and infrastructure providers
  • Teachers and team administrators for scheduling purposes

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Some in-app data may also be deleted by user-configured retention settings or manual cleanup tools.
